Rebamipide
ТаблеткиGastroprotective agent, has a protective effect on the mucous membrane of the gastrointestinal tract (GIT), preventing the possible damaging effect of ethanol, acids and alkalis, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs.
Indications
Peptic ulcer disease. Chronic gastritis with increased acid-forming function of the stomach in the stage of exacerbation, erosive gastritis. Prevention of mucosal damage on the background of taking NSAIDs. Can be used as part of combination therapy. If improvement has not occurred after 2 weeks or you feel worsening, you should consult a doctor.
Contraindications
- individual intolerance to rebamipide or other components of the drug;
- pregnancy;
- lactation period;
- children under 18 years of age.
Caution
Caution is recommended when first prescribing rebamipide to elderly patients due to the possibility of hypersensitivity to the drug.
Usage
The drug is taken orally, 1 tablet 3 times/day, drinking a small amount of liquid.
The course of treatment is 2-4 weeks, if necessary it can be prolonged up to 8 weeks.
The drug has no peculiarities of action at the first reception or at its cancellation.
If you miss taking one dose, you should take the next dose of the drug at the prescribed time, do not take double dose of the drug.
