Mirpharm will support an international conference dedicated to interstitial cystitis

International conference of urologists GIBS (GLOBAL INTERSTITIAL CYSTITIS, BLADDER PAINSOCIETY) dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of interstitial cystitis will be held on August 27 and 28 in Mumbai. Leading urologists from 7 countries will speak at the conference.
Mir-Pharm companies will act as a partner of the event, providing the Russian urological community with access to the conference materials. Support for the event is designed to increase the awareness of Russian urologists about the methods of diagnosis and treatment of IC.
The problem of treatment of interstitial cystitis is one of the most difficult tasks in modern urology. Therefore, she was honored with the creation of a separate society dedicated to the fight against interstitial cystitis.
In July 2022, Mir-Pharm successfully registered in Russia a drug for the treatment of interstitial cystitis - Miropentane, which is the only FDA-approved oral drug and is included in the first line of therapy for painful bladder syndrome in clinical recommendations.
Miropentane (INN - pentosan sodium polysulfate) is used in the treatment of interstitial cystitis and has a long-term anti-inflammatory effect and relieves pain, proven in national and international clinical studies.
Miropentan is the only officially registered drug for the treatment of interstitial cystitis in Russia.
